The Bell Design

This new bell form was designed in collaboration with Dr Neil Mclachlan (University of Melbourne, Australia). Uniquely, from one strike it sounds different notes one after another as a melody. This form has never existed before and has only been possible as a result of recent developments in computer modeling.  The bell is cast bronze, made by Brass Founders of Sheffield.  Over the years they will be turned green, or other colours, depending on local contaminants, by the sea, but will not degrade.
